Join the Libyan Cardiac Society (LCS), for all Libyan cardiovascular disease healthcare professionals. Since its inception in 2001, the Society
has been committed to advancing cardiovascular care, promote education, reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease, and save lives.
The Society offers many educational activities to its members including periodic workshops and annual scientific meetings. Over the years,
the LCS has had organized several public campaigns to increase public awareness about heart disease in Libya.
Libyan Cardiac Society membership is open to all cardiovascular healthcare professionals practicing in
Libya and to all Libyan cardiovascular healthcare professionals across the world.

Full membership
Full member should be a Libyan physician who holds post graduate training degree in any cardiovascular disease specialties, e.g., diploma, master, PhD or board certification in adult cardiology, pediatric cardiology, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, or cardiac anesthesia. The Libyan Cardiac Society bylaws allows to full members of the society the right to vote and sit on the executive board of the Libyan Cardiac Society.
Affiliated membership
Affiliated member should be a practicing
physician in any cardiovascular disease
specialties for at least 3 years in Libya.
Honorary membership
Is offered to those who have contributed to the
mission of the Libyan Cardiac Society, both inside and outside Libya.
